Trystan lives in Rugby, Warwickshire with his family. 

 

After spending his childhood in Wales and the Middle East, he graduated from the University of Wales.  Following a Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, he then embarked on a commercial career.

 

Initially, this was with Disney in North America, Omnicom in GB, and then Britvic PLC - a leading soft drinks company (the name behind brands like Pepsi, 7UP, Tango, J20, Robinsons, etc).

At Britvic, he held a wide variety of roles. Most recently, he was Sales Director (GB), Sustainability Director (Group), Commercial Director (Ireland), and Customer & Marketing Director (International) for an innovative start-up business unit called ‘Beyond the Bottle,’ which focused on scaling the Aqua Libra water brand, avoiding the need for single-use packaging. He was also the Executive sponsor of Britvic’s ‘B-Diverse’ network, which promoted diversity and inclusion across the business.

 

Trystan joined the board driven by deeply held belief that everyone deserves a great and fair start in life, regardless of any background – and a conviction that well-led, empowered, community-based schools can make a huge positive impact on individuals, cultures and economies at large. 

 

Joining the board in late 2022, he brings to the board expertise in commercial strategy, marketing, change management, turnaround, sustainability, diversity and inclusion.
